Invitation for Bids for Woods Chapel Park Lift Station

The City of Blue Springs is seeking bids for the construction and installation of a lift station at Woods Chapel Park. The scope of work includes the installation of sanitary sewer force mains, PVC pipe, a wet well and lid, precast valve vault, doghouse manhole, lift station electrical work, and other incidental items. The project is expected to start in October with a contract length of 45 calendar days. • The project requires the installation of 100 feet of 6-inch diameter ductile iron sanitary sewer force main, 26 feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron sanitary sewer force main, and 15 feet of 12-inch diameter SDR 21 class 200 PVC pipe. • A precast valve vault, 48-inch diameter doghouse manhole, and lift station electrical work are also included in the scope of work. • The successful bidder must comply with federal and state regulations, including the Work Hours Act of 1962 and the President's Executive Order Number 11246. • The City of Blue Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the owner.
