Property Appraisal Services

The State of Vermont is seeking bids for property appraisal services to conduct appraisals of Vermont real property for purposes of the education and municipal property tax grand lists. The selected contractor will be expected to value real property as requested by the Department, perform various tasks necessary to prepare updated estimates of value and supporting documentation, and provide consulting and expert testimony to assist the State of Vermont. The contract will be for a period of two years with an option to renew for up to three additional twelve-month periods. Key aspects of the job include: * Conducting appraisals of Vermont real property * Preparing updated estimates of value and supporting documentation * Providing consulting and expert testimony to assist the State of Vermont * Being available to testify in support of appraisals as needed throughout any appeals process * Reviewing existing grand list values of properties
