Tax Sale Title Search

The Town of North Kingstown is seeking proposals for title searches for this year’s tax sale. The scope of work includes preparing certified letters, publishing notices, and recording a list of properties sold at tax sale. The successful bidder will be responsible for securing an auctioneer and preparing a form of affidavit. The proposed schedule of dates includes bid opening on December 10, 2025, and tax sale on June 5, 2026. • Preparing certified letters to all persons required to receive notice • Publishing notices of the sale in a public newspaper and placing said notices in two or more public places • Securing an auctioneer • Preparing a form of affidavit • Recording a list of properties sold at tax sale
