The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to perform surface preparation and painting of structural steel elements on the 531‑ft North Ohio Street Bridge and associated fixtures. The work includes removal of existing coatings, priming, and applying new paint systems to fences, barriers, railings, and various light‑pole posts, as well as the railroad rail embedded in the concrete barrier. Bidders must be pre‑qualified through KDOT for Work Type Q (Painting Structural Steel) and will need to purchase the full bid package for $22.00. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder after a public opening on the bid deadline.
