2024 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Directorate of Science and Technology (S&T) Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (LRBAA) 24-01

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking proposals for scientific and technical projects to improve or increase capabilities in various areas, including counter-terrorism, border security, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure protection. The proposals should focus on one of three types: near-term component, foundational science, or future needs and emerging threats. The selected proposals will be awarded as research and development contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, or other transactions agreements. • The announcement includes six key mission areas: Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security Threats, Secure U.S. Borders and Approaches, Secure Cyberspace and Critical Infrastructure, Preserve and Uphold the Nation’s Prosperity and Economic Security, Strengthen Preparedness and Resilience, and Champion the DHS Workforce and Strengthen the Department. • The proposal process consists of three steps: Industry Engagement, Virtual Pitch, and Written Proposal. • The submission requirements and evaluation criteria are described in the announcement. • The Government reserves the right to select all, some, one, or none of the invited proposals for award. • The selected proposals will be awarded based on technical and scientific merit, as well as the availability of funds.
