Notice of Intent to Sole Source Tower Escape System

The Department of the Air Force is seeking to sole source a High Rise Escape System for the Air Traffic Control Tower at Cannon AFB. The system will be acquired from High Rise Escape Systems, as they are the only emergency escape systems currently installed and utilized at United States Air Force Air Traffic Control Towers. The total estimated value of this acquisition is $188,641.00. * The system must be compatible with existing infrastructure and maintain standardization. * The system must provide operational continuity and maintenance support. * The system must be easy to use and require minimal training. * The system must be installed and utilized at USAF ATC Towers operating within the National Airspace System.
