Description

The Tomahawk Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Process Improvements Project encompasses a comprehensive suite of upgrades aimed at odor control, nitrogen treatment, sludge handling, and infrastructure modernization. The work includes installing odor‑control covers and systems, modifying centrifuge and sludge streams, adding feed capabilities, upgrading pump and sensor equipment, and constructing new access and safety features throughout the plant. This contract is a multi‑disciplinary effort requiring civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering, as well as specialized construction and instrumentation services. • Odor‑control enhancements: covers for basins, new odor‑control system, rubber mat covers for splitter boxes. • Process upgrades: centrifuge flow segregation, ferric chloride feed for thickener, digester feed pump addition, pressure sensor integration, and micro‑C dosing water source change. • Infrastructure improvements: new access tower, cleanout manholes, actuator installations, safety platforms, and storm‑drain isolation near chemical handling areas.
