The City of Huron, KS is seeking bids for a comprehensive upgrade of its two‑cell wastewater treatment lagoon facility. The work includes extensive mechanical and civil improvements aimed at restoring lagoon capacity, improving discharge control, and enhancing site security.
• Desludge both lagoon cells and remove accumulated sediments.
• Install new control structures, piping, and discharge mechanisms.
• Construct new woven‑wire perimeter fencing around the WWTF.
• Reshape lagoon side slopes and place rip‑rap rock for erosion protection.
• Provide associated civil works such as slope re‑grading and ancillary infrastructure.
