FY2027 Sewer Department Chemicals

The Town of Milford, Massachusetts, is seeking bids for the supply of sewer department chemicals, including hydrated lime, polymerized aluminum coagulant, liquid polymer, and cationic emulsion polymer, for fiscal year 2027. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest price for the specified supplies. The bidder must deliver the chemicals to the Milford Wastewater Treatment Facility, and all deliveries must be coordinated with the Sewer Department. The bidder is also responsible for determining the length and size of all hoses and connectors necessary for offloading the chemicals. • The bidder must provide a certificate of analysis for each shipment of hydrated lime and polymerized aluminum coagulant. • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed chemicals will perform satisfactorily in the treatment process under both warm and cold weather conditions. • The bidder must provide annual performance testing on site at no additional cost to the Sewer Department. • The contract will be for a period of one year, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. • The bidder must submit a bid form, a certificate of non-collusion, and other required documentation.
