Description
Wilcox County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified vendors to supply Self‑Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment, including full units, facepieces, bottles, and associated training for the county fire department. The contract will be awarded to one or more vendors after a sealed‑bid opening on November 19, 2026, and will be valid for a four‑month performance period. Vendors must submit a sealed proposal package by the deadline, include the required certification forms, and may be required to provide alternate brands that meet or exceed the specified quality. The county reserves the right to negotiate quantities, add items, or modify the award after contract execution.
• Required items: 20 × 3M Scott X3 Pro SCBA units, 20 × AV‑3000 HT face‑pieces, 40 × CGA carbon cylinders (4.5 psi, 45 min).
• Delivery and shipping costs must be included in unit prices; prices locked for four months.
• Vendor must provide training on use and maintenance of the SCBA equipment.
• Proposal must include the county‑provided SCBA proposal form, certifications (E‑EO, drug‑free, D.B.E./Minority status), and GSICA affidavit.
