TOTAL METALS - SAMPLE ANALYSIS

The USGS is seeking a qualified laboratory to perform ultra‑trace metal analysis on 100 water samples collected from cyanobacterial culture experiments. The contractor must operate an “Ultra‑Trace Element Clean Laboratory” (Class 5000 overall, Class 10 critical zones), conduct SF‑ICP‑MS measurements for Fe, Mo, Ni, and Zn, provide full quality‑control documentation (blanks, spikes, duplicates, certified reference materials), and deliver results in CSV format within three months of sample receipt. The effort is a firm‑fixed‑price, one‑year contract (09/10/2026‑09/09/2027) with a performance period of up to 90 days after the final batch of samples is received.
