Donnells Static Excitation Replacement

The Tri‑Dam Project is soliciting qualified vendors to design, supply, install, test, and commission a new static excitation system for the Donnells Powerhouse hydroelectric facility. The scope includes furnishing a redundant digital excitation system, power potential transformer (PPT), redundant power converters, voltage regulator, software tools, spare parts, on‑site field engineering support, factory and site acceptance testing, and training. Bidders must submit a lump‑sum price covering all materials, engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing (5‑day start‑up), and optional panel‑mount replacement. The contract will be awarded after a bid opening on Oct 7 2026; work must commence within 10 days of purchase order and be completed so that the unit outage can begin in Dec 2027, with equipment delivery no later than Oct 15 2027. Qualification requires at least three comparable projects in the past five years.
