Janitorial Services for Communications

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky State Police Communications Branch. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks, such as emptying trash cans, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and dusting furniture. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for an additional year. The vendor will be paid on a monthly basis, with a total cost not to exceed $20,000 per fiscal year. Key tasks and responsibilities include: • Daily cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and offices • Weekly cleaning of floors, carpets, and furniture • Monthly cleaning of windows, blinds, and doors • Quarterly cleaning of light fixtures and frames • Yearly cleaning of resilient floors and carpets The vendor will be required to provide a signature sheet that is date/time stamped and signed by a laboratory employee daily to provide proof of services being rendered.
