The RMC Lower LA River Grant Program aims to support projects that improve the environment of the Lower Los Angeles River. The program prioritizes ecosystem and watershed protection, expanding access to diverse populations, high-need project implementation, and implementing projects congruent with the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, tribal governments, and state and federal agencies. The total estimated available funding is $11,413,072, with individual awards ranging from $50,000 to $2,000,000. • Eligible projects must be consistent with the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan. • Applications will be submitted in two phases: a Concept Proposal and a Full Application. • Preference will be given to projects that have secured matching funding. • The funding method will be reimbursement, with advance payments possible at the sole discretion of the State.
