Metal Detector Rental

The U.S. Army is seeking to rent metal detectors for an event scheduled from 05-07 September 2025. The metal detectors must be portable with dimensions not exceeding 19.7 inches in width, 11.8 inches in depth, and 72 inches in height. They must also have a weight not exceeding 24.2 lbs and an operating time of up to 14 hours. The detectors should be equipped with a primary and alternate 18V-12Ah lithium-ion battery and have a 360-degree visual alarm indication. The system must be capable of detecting any type of shooting weapon and improvised explosive device, with an extremely high throughput of 1600 people per hour and an operational transit width of 27-39 inches. On-site support is requested to assist with any technical issues that may arise during the event. • The rental period is from 04 September 2025 to 07 September 2025. • The metal detectors should be delivered on 04 September 2025 and picked up on 07 September 2025. • Quotes must be valid for sixty (60) days. • All technical or contractual questions must be submitted in writing via email no later than 12:00 noon EST on 04 April 2025.
