Description
The Navajo Nation Department of Information Technology (NNDIT) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the implementation and support of the Varonis SaaS Data Security Platform. The goal of this project is to enhance the Nation's cybersecurity posture by protecting sensitive data assets through automated data discovery, classification, permissions management, and real-time threat detection. **Key Requirements:** 1. The proposed solution must be a SaaS-only configuration with no dependency on on-premises infrastructure. 2. The solution must provide enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 protection across various platforms. 3. The solution must include managed data detection and response (MDDR) with 24/7/365 human-led monitoring and incident assistance. 4. The solution must provide data classification and sensitivity labeling, permissions and identity governance, behavioral analytics, and cloud posture and SaaS risk management. **Deliverables and Services:** 1. Data visibility and classification 2. Access governance and zero-trust enforcement 3. Threat detection and response 4. SaaS posture and risk management 5. Identity risk management 6. Managed data detection and response (MDDR) **Evaluation Criteria:** 1. Priority vendor certification (10 points) 2. Letter of transmittal and qualifications (25 points) 3. Technical proposal and scope alignment (30 points) 4. Cost proposal and value (20 points) 5. Managed detection and response capability (10 points) 6. Data sovereignty and knowledge transfer plan (5 points) **Contract Terms:** 1. The contract will be for a period of 3 years from the date of award. 2. The contract is contingent upon the availability of funds. 3. The Navajo Nation reserves the right to incorporate standard contract provisions into any contract negotiations. **Proposal Submission:** 1. Proposals must be received by 3:00 p.m. MDST on December 1, 2025. 2. Five sets of the proposal must be delivered to the address indicated in the RFP. 3.
