RFP Architectural Firm

Pierce County is seeking an architectural firm to provide pre- and post-award services for various community and economic development projects. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing preliminary architectural reports, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight, quality control, and project closeout. The firm will also be required to provide architectural services for future community and economic development projects for a limited time period based on the funding of the grant. The project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. • The firm will be responsible for preparing preliminary architectural reports, plans, and specs. • The firm will be responsible for surveying, bid documents, and assistance in bid opening. • The firm will be responsible for managing contractor performance, inspections, and preparing change orders. • The firm will be responsible for preparing and submitting all required reports and documentation to DCA.
