WSH and Nursing Facility Laundry and Linen Service

The Cabinet for Health and Family Services is seeking a vendor to provide laundry and linen services to Western State Hospital and Western State Nursing Facility. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. The vendor will be responsible for providing laundry carts, bags, and supplies, as well as picking up and delivering soiled and clean laundry items. The vendor will also be required to provide monthly management reports and maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. • The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. • The vendor will be responsible for providing laundry carts, bags, and supplies. • The vendor will be required to pick up and deliver soiled and clean laundry items three days per week. • The vendor will be required to provide monthly management reports and maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. • The vendor will be required to have a service representative for the area in which the facility is located. • The vendor will be required to provide a qualified individual to aid in providing technical assistance and in-service training of using agency staff upon request.
