USM-USG-2606 Unarmed Security Guard Services for Universities at Shady Grove

The University System of Maryland is seeking a qualified contractor to provide unarmed uniformed security guard services for the Universities at Shady Grove campus in Rockville, MD. The services include management, staffing, and operating unarmed uniformed security guard services, direct daily supervision of the security guard(s) duty performance, regular campus patrols, access control and building security, emergency management, customer service, and liaison with the USG Project Manager. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the Universities at Shady Grove operate with minimum damage or loss through theft, fire, vandalism, and other related acts. • The contractor will provide unarmed uniformed security guard services • The contractor will perform regular campus patrols and provide an audit trail • The contractor will manage access control and building security • The contractor will manage emergencies and coordinate with first responders • The contractor will provide routine customer service and assistance • The contractor will liaison with the USG Project Manager
