IFB-26-27-025-Ballou Park Pickleball Court Improvements

The City of Danville is seeking qualified contractors to design and construct new pickleball courts and related amenities in Ballou Park. The scope includes demolition of existing tennis court infrastructure, installation of new asphalt base, acrylic surfacing, net systems, fencing, two shade pavilions, accessible parking improvements, a pedestrian walkway, site grading, erosion control, and final site restoration. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, and supervision required to complete the project within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed, and must furnish required bid and performance bonds. <br/>• Demolition of existing court, fencing, and lighting.<br/>• New asphalt pavement and acrylic pickleball surface with striping.<br/>• Installation of net posts, nets, fencing, gates, and shade pavilions.<br/>• Accessible parking pads, signage, wheel stops, and a concrete pedestrian route.<br/>• Site grading, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas.<br/>• Required 5% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds; liquidated damages $250/day; 5% retainage.
