Request for Qualifications (RFQ) - CALL for SCULPTORS

The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) is seeking to expand its collection of contemporary sculpture in public spaces. They are looking for professional LA-based artists to comprise its 2026 Prequalified Roster of Sculptors. The selected artists will be eligible to participate in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by DCA to commission original, site-specific contemporary sculpture projects for various new public art opportunities throughout Los Angeles. Key points to consider: • The RFQ is open to professional artists residing in the County of Los Angeles. • Artists must have a professional track record of successful completion of past sculpture projects. • Application materials must be submitted online via SlideRoom by June 29, 2026. • A complete application must include contact information, statement of interest, resume or CV, and 12 images of completed artwork. • Budgets for sculpture projects will range from $50,000 to $300,000.
