Motor Vehicles Batteries

The Pinellas County School District is soliciting bids for the provision of motor vehicle batteries. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide weekly visits to four bus compounds, rotate stock as needed, and deliver and place stock in battery racks. The bidder must also maintain at least one factory-authorized service station and/or servicing dealer within Florida to perform warranty repairs and adjustments. • The contract will commence on October 13, 2026, and end on October 12, 2027. • The bidder must provide a warranty for the batteries, with a minimum warranty period of one year. • The bidder must also provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contract value is estimated to be approximately $65,000 per year, excluding renewal options.
