Water Meters, Registers, and Other Hardware FY27

The City of Cambridge is soliciting sealed bids to supply a variety of water meters, registers, and related hardware for its FY27 meter‑replacement program. The contract will cover positive‑displacement, turbine, ultrasonic, and fire‑hydrant meters in sizes ranging from 5/8" to 6". All meters must meet current AWWA standards, be lead‑free, and be compatible with the city’s Aclara RF AMR system (minimum 99.95% accuracy, 6‑sigma preferred). Delivery is FOB to the Cambridge Water Department receiving area with a 30‑day lead time; the city will not pre‑pay and will pay upon milestone completion. The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with contracts expected to be signed within 45 days of bid opening.
