The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is seeking vendors qualified to provide for the purchase, service, repair, and maintenance of diving equipment, boats, motors, and other miscellaneous equipment/supplies associated with conducting underwater operations on a statewide basis. The contract may be utilized by other Commonwealth public entities upon MassDOT's discretion and approval. The estimated value of the contract is $400,000 over the life of the potential award, including renewals. MassDOT makes no guarantee that any commodities or services will be purchased from any contract resulting from this solicitation. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing diving equipment, boats, motors, and other miscellaneous equipment/supplies • Conducting underwater operations on a statewide basis • Maintaining and repairing equipment • Providing services to support MassDOT's transportation systems • Complying with MassDOT's Terms and Conditions and other applicable laws and regulations • Participating in the Commonwealth's Prompt Payment Discount (PPD) program • Maintaining insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Umbrella insurance
