Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is seeking information from qualified vendors capable of establishing and operating a comprehensive Employee Safety Footwear Program for roughly 2,500 field staff across the state. The future contract would require the vendor to procure, manage, and distribute approved safety‑shoe allotments, maintain employee sizing data, handle ordering and payment processes, and provide full logistical support both on‑site and online. In addition, the program must satisfy rigorous state‑mandated information‑technology security requirements, including U.S.‑only data residency, FIPS‑validated encryption, annual NIST 800‑53 audits, PCI‑DSS certification, and strict incident‑response protocols. Respondents must certify their ability to meet these security controls, disclose any foreign data hosting, and agree to destroy all state data upon contract termination.
• Manage annual footwear allocation for ~2,500 TDOT field employees, including size collection, ordering, receipt, and distribution.
• Operate a secure IT environment that complies with FIPS, NIST, PCI‑DSS, GLBA, and AI‑usage restrictions, with annual independent audits and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Provide legal affirmation of compliance, data‑residency commitments, and rapid breach‑notification (24‑hour) capabilities.
