Food, Beverage, and Paper Goods

The West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility is soliciting bids to establish an open-end contract for food, beverage, and paper goods. The contract requires vendors to provide a wide range of products, including canned foods, staple groceries, dietetic foods, frozen foods, coffee, and paper goods. Vendors must meet specific requirements, such as maintaining a supply of adequate inventories, providing timely communication and responses, and ensuring that all staff assigned to the contract are qualified and possess the necessary training and certifications. • The contract is intended to provide the Agency with a purchase price for the contract services. • Vendors must submit a copy of their catalog page(s) with the manufacturer, size/wt., catalog list price, and the number of units provided clearly identified for each commodity item. • The Agency may permit vendors to update their catalog at each renewal date. • Vendors must accept orders through wvOASIS, regular mail, facsimile, email, or other written forms of communication. • The contract has a delivery time and place requirement, with standard orders to be delivered within four working days and emergency orders within one working day.
