WHITE CITY LYNX SUPPORT SSA

The White City VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinic (VA SORCC) is seeking a contractor to provide continuous service of the Security/Access system at White City, Oregon, with a Base Plus 4 contract. The contractor will provide remote programming support for the Lynx Security System, including a duress system that provides a two-button alert tied directly to the VA Police Department Dispatch. The system also includes a parking lot panic system with direct communication to the VA Police Department Dispatch. The contractor must be an authorized reseller of the Lynx Support System and software. The period of performance is a base period of one year, with four option years. The contractor will be required to provide technical support during business hours, with emergency support available after hours and on weekends. Some key tasks and requirements include: • Providing an uptime of 99% for the system through proper maintenance and timely response to repair service calls • Performing ongoing software preventive maintenance checks and service per manufacturer’s specifications • Providing updates to the software when available • Assisting customers in troubleshooting problems and advising on solutions • Responding immediately to any issues that affect the VA SORCC’s ability to fulfill its mission • Maintaining software used to generate performance reports
