RFP 20262024 Peer Navigation Alternative Response

The City of Eugene is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide a pilot program for Peer Navigation Services in high volume corridors outside of the downtown core. The program aims to extend trauma-informed outreach and service navigation to vulnerable populations in additional areas of the city. The initial term of the contract will be one year with options to renew for up to a cumulative maximum of five years. • The program will operate in partnership with Eugene Springfield Fire and Eugene Police Department to reduce repeat calls for service and connect individuals to housing, treatment, and recovery services. • The contractor will be responsible for recruiting and supervising full-time Peer Navigators with Peer Support Specialist certification. • The contractor will be required to adhere to the City's sustainability and social equity goals, including reducing waste, using environmentally preferred products, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
