5820--All-purpose and interoperable radios at the CIVAHCS

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking all-purpose and interoperable radios for use in operations at the Central Iowa Healthcare System. The required radios must allow for interoperation with VA police, maintenance, and operation staff, as well as facility staff. The contractor shall deliver and install the radios within 90 days of the contract award. The radios must meet specific requirements, including digital trunking, 700/800 MHz, VHF, UHF Range 1 & UHF Range 2, and SmartZone operation. Key features include Wi-Fi, digital tone signaling, man-down/fall alert capability, and emergency find me.
