The City of Bridgeport is seeking bids for commodities, including eggs, poultry, cheese, beef, fruit, and vegetables. The selected awardee must meet all municipal, State, and Federal practices and requirements. The bid price submitted shall be firm fixed and valid through June 30, 2027. The bidder must provide various documents, including a vendor statement, CT Secretary of State registration, nutritional analysis, and product formulation statements. • The bid must include pricing for the length of the term unless there is a major change in the market. • The bidder must maintain backup stock to be delivered within 24 hours of notice. • The bidder must accept orders from Bridgeport's BOE Food & Nutrition ordering system. • The bidder must provide certificates of insurance and complete a No Conflicts/Disclosure Form. • The bidder must comply with 49 CFR 29, Subpart C and include the requirement to comply with 49 CFR 29, Subpart C in any lower-tier covered transaction.
