Homeowner Repairs – Contractor Pool

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County are establishing a qualified contractor pool to perform single‑family home repair projects funded by CDBG and City resources. Qualified firms may be called on for a wide range of repairs, from structural work to specialty trades such as lead‑paint abatement and HVAC replacement, under an 18‑month contract (renewable for another 18 months) with a total ceiling of $2 M. Contractors must hold appropriate city licenses, carry required insurance, and meet minority‑business participation goals. Submissions are accepted electronically by October 1 2026. • Eligible trades include General Contractor, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Roofing, Lead‑Based Paint, Asbestos, Radon, Mold, and more. • Project scope covers foundation, structural, systems, interior finishes, ADA upgrades, site work, and hazardous‑material remediation. • Minimum 1‑year workmanship warranty, 60‑day project completion target after notice to proceed, and $200/day liquidated‑damages for non‑performance.
