The Ohio Department of Health is seeking a qualified vendor to design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive training and technical assistance program for Community Health Workers (CHWs) serving rural Ohio. The effort aims to build a sustainable CHW workforce capable of linking rural residents to health resources and improving outcomes. The contractor will be responsible for curriculum creation, facilitator recruitment, delivery of both in‑person and virtual training sessions, provision of technical assistance to CHW programs, and evaluation of training effectiveness. This is a double‑envelope RFP (technical and cost) with a submission deadline of June 15, 2026. • Develop and deliver a full curriculum (modules, materials, assessments) for CHWs covering core competencies, cultural competency, and resource navigation. • Provide ongoing technical assistance (e.g., webinars, helplines, on‑site coaching) to participating CHW programs throughout the contract period. • Conduct performance measurement, data collection, and reporting to demonstrate impact on rural health outcomes. • Manage all logistical aspects of training delivery, including virtual platform setup, venue coordination, and trainer scheduling. • Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health terms and conditions and submit required cost and technical proposals.
