Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $2,000,000

Based on the information provided in the RFP, it is difficult to estimate the exact budget for this contract. However, considering the scope of work, which includes providing school crossing guards at 47 locations, and the contract term of three years with three one-year options to extend, the budget could be substantial. Assuming an average cost of $20 per hour for a crossing guard and 2.5 hours of work per day, the daily cost would be $50 per crossing guard. With 47 locations, the daily cost would be $2,350. For a 180-day school year, the total cost would be $423,000 per year. Over the three-year contract term, the total budget could be around $1,269,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on various factors, including the number of crossing guards required, the hourly rate, and any additional services that may be needed.
