Budget estimate

$300,000 – $800,000

The contract encompasses chemical supply, equipment installation, frequent on‑site service visits, legionella testing, reporting infrastructure, and training across dozens of county facilities. Based on similar municipal water‑treatment contracts, total contract values typically range from a few hundred thousand up to around one million dollars. Assuming an average chemical cost of $150,000, equipment and installation of $200,000, labor for monthly visits and emergency response of $250,000, and reporting/training services of $100,000, a reasonable estimate is $300,000‑$800,000. Factors influencing the final amount include the exact number of facilities served, volume of chemicals required, and any additional optional services.
