Liquid Sulfur Dioxide

The City of Waco is seeking bids for the supply of liquid sulfur dioxide in one-ton containers for use at the City's Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contractor shall furnish all product, delivery units, transportation, delivery labor, unloading and handling equipment, safety equipment, documentation, technical assistance, and other materials and services necessary to complete each delivery and delivery unit exchange in accordance with the specifications. The bid shall include the cost of packaging, transportation, unloading, and any trade and cash discounts. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and the bid award will be based on the lowest responsible bidder. • The contractor shall provide a current Safety Data Sheet with its bid. • The contractor shall maintain a continuously available 24-hour emergency telephone number throughout the contract. • The contractor shall have access to qualified personnel, equipment, and resources capable of responding to emergencies. • The contractor shall provide reasonable product-handling and emergency-procedure familiarization to designated City personnel. • The contractor shall be responsible for a release, leak, contamination, property damage, or unsafe condition caused by the contractor's product, delivery unit, or delivery operation.
