The South Carolina Department of Mental Health is seeking to establish a source or sources to contract with Community Residential Care Facilities for patients at high risk for hospitalization. The purpose of this fixed-price bid is to acquire services that comply with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions. The contract will be for a period of one year with four one-year renewal options, with a maximum contract life of five years. The contractor will be required to provide care and treatment to patients in a community residential care facility setting. • The contractor must be able to provide care and treatment to patients with mental health needs. • The contractor must be able to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. • The contractor must be able to provide ongoing support and treatment to patients. • The contractor must be able to work with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health to ensure that patients receive the care and treatment they need.
