Retirement Investment and Recordkeeping Services

Johnson County, KS is seeking a full-service provider to provide recordkeeping, administration, and investment services for their 457 and 401(a) plans. The provider will be responsible for managing the plans, providing participant services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The contract term is for three years with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year periods. The provider will be expected to work cooperatively with Creative Planning Investment Advisors and participate in quarterly meetings with the Retirement Planning Committee. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing recordkeeping, administration, and investment services for the 457 and 401(a) plans • Managing participant services, including phone response times and plan sponsor services • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records • Working cooperatively with Creative Planning Investment Advisors and participating in quarterly meetings with the Retirement Planning Committee • Providing participant education and financial wellness services • Maintaining an open architecture investment platform and fee levelization • Ensuring data privacy and security • Providing insurance coverage and maintaining required insurance policies
