USAFA Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Data Collection System

The US Air Force Academy (USAFA) is seeking a commercial Data Collection System to replace their current dissimilar and obsolete systems. The goal is to create a common data collection foundation across all lab facilities. The system must meet certain technical specifications, including a sample rate of 10 kHz or greater, ecosystem compatibility with a C# .NET ecosystem, real-time control and safety features, modularity and expansion capabilities, and IP ownership. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement addressing their company profile, business size, capability, and other relevant information. • The system must feature an Application Programming Interface (API) fully compatible and accessible within a C# .NET ecosystem. • The system must have real-time display capabilities and interface with control systems to enforce safety parameters. • The system must accept external inputs and allow for approximately 50% extra channel capacity for future expansion. • The system must feature ADC resolution of >= 24 Bit (Bridge). • The hardware must be maintainable with an upgrade path into the future 10+ years.
