Bus Shelter Maintenance

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is seeking a vendor to perform bus shelter maintenance services, including cleaning, trash collection, and snow removal. The contract will be for a one-year term with up to four annual renewal options. The vendor will be required to clean each bus shelter once per month, empty trash receptacles once per week, and remove snow and ice from shelters within 24 hours of a snow event. The vendor will also be required to document each visit to a bus shelter and report any damage or unusual conditions. • The contract will be awarded to the responsible, responsive vendor that submits the best value to the Authority based on evaluation factors including cost, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform the work. • The vendor must provide pricing for the base contract year and all option years. • The vendor must submit a list of at least three references, a cost proposal, a monthly schedule for all work, and information demonstrating the ability to perform the services requested.
