Law Enforcement Center Security Control System Replacement

Ellis County, Kansas is seeking a qualified system integrator to design, furnish, install, configure, test, commission, and support a comprehensive Integrated Detention Control System (IDCS) for the Ellis County Law Enforcement/Detention Center. The project includes replacing and modernizing the facility's detention control infrastructure, including door control, intercom communications, video surveillance, and access control systems. The selected vendor will be required to provide a fully integrated and scalable platform that improves operational efficiency, security, and officer safety. The contract will include a 3-year warranty and support period. Key aspects of the project include: • Upgrading and replacing Jail and Law Enforcement Center Video Surveillance and Access Control equipment and components • Designing and installing a comprehensive IDCS • Providing a phased installation plan to ensure the detention facility remains fully operational during installation • Coordinating with existing vendors, including INA Alert and Bankers Security • Ensuring compliance with CJIS Security Policy requirements and other applicable laws and regulations
