OPC S270007 BGE Rate Case

The Office of the People's Counsel (OPC) is seeking expert consulting and testimony services to assist in BGE's electric base rate case. The selected consultant will review BGE's filing, testimony, exhibits, workpapers, discovery responses, and related materials; assist OPC in discovery and issue identification; develop recommended adjustments or policy positions; prepare testimony and exhibits; review rebuttal or surrebuttal testimony; assist OPC counsel in hearing preparation; provide support for settlement discussions and briefing as needed; and provide technical review or analysis to support OPC's public-facing summaries or communications regarding the case. Key aspects of the job include: • Review and analysis of BGE's Application and supporting documents • Preparation of data requests and other discovery • Attendance at position development and settlement meetings • Preparation of direct, rebuttal, and surrebuttal written expert testimony • Assistance with preparation of cross-examination and briefing The consultant will work closely with OPC staff and must maintain confidentiality due to the pending litigation nature of the services.
