The City of Santa Fe is conducting a market‑research Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry input on Phase One horizontal infrastructure improvements planned for the Midtown Redevelopment Site – a high‑density, mixed‑use district in the city’s core. The RFI seeks feedback on constructability, sequencing, procurement strategy, risk mitigation, utility coordination, sustainability, and innovative construction methods. Responses will inform the scope, schedule, and contract approach for a future competitive Request for Proposals (RFP). An Industry Outreach Event will be held on‑site on September 17 2026 (attendance encouraged but not required). Interested firms must submit their completed questionnaire by October 9 2026.
• Scope includes ROW infrastructure, underground utilities (water, wastewater, electric, fiber‑optic, gas), green stormwater systems, roadways, sidewalks, bike facilities, parking, ADA improvements, landscaping and streetscape.
• City provides ~90 % design drawings for reference; designs may be revised before the formal solicitation.
• Primary objectives: improve constructability, reduce schedule/cost risk, enhance utility coordination, increase sustainability, and capture innovative practices.
• Respondents are asked to comment on feasibility, risks, recommended delivery method, contract duration, phasing, and market conditions (labor, material, supply‑chain).
• No pricing or cost information is to be included; the RFI is purely informational and will not be evaluated as a proposal.
