FPB HEARING OFFICERS

The State of South Carolina, through its Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking qualified firms or individuals to serve as Administrative Hearing Officers. Contractors will conduct administrative hearings (in‑person or virtual), prepare orders and final decisions, and handle a broad range of Medicaid‑related disputes and other health‑service appeals. Compensation is case‑based, with a maximum of $1,000 per full hearing and decision, plus additional rates for partial hearings, dismissals, and exigent circumstances. The contract is a fixed‑price, multi‑year award (up to five years) with optional one‑year renewals, and the State will provide secure laptops, RSA tokens, printers, and other equipment. Offerors must be South‑Carolina‑licensed attorneys or non‑attorneys with at least two years of relevant experience, be Notary Publics, and submit all required certifications (debarment, HIPAA BAA, COI, etc.).
