PSCs for Hearing Officers for Personnel Board

The Kentucky Personnel Board is seeking professional hearing officer services to conduct administrative evidentiary hearings and prepare orders and recommended orders for the Board. The selected vendor will be responsible for presiding at hearings, preparing findings of fact and conclusions of law, and performing other quasi-judicial duties as required. The contract is expected to be for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional two-year periods. The vendor will be compensated at a flat hourly rate of $200, with reimbursement for authorized travel expenses. * Key responsibilities include: * Presiding at administrative evidentiary hearings * Preparing findings of fact and conclusions of law * Performing other quasi-judicial duties as required * The vendor must have experience in administrative hearing processes and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. * The vendor must be able to work independently and make sound judgments. * The vendor must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
