Democracy Commission Program R2 FY2022

The U.S. Embassy Tirana of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out the Democracy Commission Program. The program objectives include anti-corruption, good governance, investigative journalism, human rights/minority rights, empowerment of women and youth, combating human trafficking, reforms, environment/climate change, and elections (not including election day monitoring). • The program is open to Albanian not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations. • U.S. organizations and individuals are not eligible for grants under the program. • The program requires applicants to submit a detailed budget in Excel format. • The project description should provide a clear explanation of what the project will do to achieve the project goal. • The project team members should be listed with their names and titles. • The budget of the project should include staff, activity, and administrative costs.
