Market Conduct Analyst/Examiner

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Public Protection Cabinet/Department of Insurance is seeking a vendor to perform the services of a Market Conduct Analyst/Examiner. The selected vendor will conduct market conduct examinations of insurance companies and analyze data to determine compliance with applicable insurance statutes and regulations. The vendor will also be responsible for preparing detailed examination reports and may be required to testify in formal proceedings. • The scope of work includes examining the affairs, transactions, business, accounts, records, documents, and files of insurers or other entities/persons regulated by the Department and authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. • The vendor will use ACL software and other designated Department resources to analyze market data and extract file samples. • The vendor will work a schedule approved by the Department in advance of the start of each examination. • The vendor will be available to provide examination services upon assignment by the Department.
