The Oregon State Police is seeking proposals for building system commissioning services for the new design-build Eugene Medical Examiner and Forensics Lab. The scope of work includes ensuring building systems are designed, installed, tested, and capable of being operated and maintained to perform in conformity with the Owner's Project Requirements. The Consultant will be involved throughout the project from the pre-design through the warranty phase and will work as a collaborative member of the Owner's project team. The project is anticipated to be an approximately 44,000 square feet facility, with a target GMP of $71,600,000.00. The successful Proposer will be required to execute an agreement in the form of the Oregon Professional Services Contract. Key services and associated deliverables are further described in the Statement of Work of the Sample Contract. • The general scope of work will include ensuring building systems are designed, installed, tested, and capable of being operated and maintained to perform in conformity with the Owner's Project Requirements. • The Consultant shall establish and document the owner's criteria for system function, performance, and maintainability. • The Consultant shall verify and document compliance with these criteria throughout design, construction, start-up, and warranty periods. • The Consultant shall verify completeness of operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, and depth of training needed on system operations.
