Hauling of Voting Machines for Orleans Parish

The Secretary of State's office is seeking a contractor to provide drayage services for the hauling of voting machines and related election materials in Orleans Parish. The contract will be for a primary term of approximately 12 months, with options to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary services, including labor and equipment, to ensure the proper and timely delivery and return of voting machines to and from polling places. The contractor must have sufficient equipment and personnel to handle the transportation of voting machines, and must comply with all contract specifications and requirements. Key responsibilities include: • Hauling and delivering voting machines to polling places • Setting up and removing voting machines • Providing election day services, including delivering additional voting machines as needed • Maintaining equipment in workable condition • Complying with all contract specifications and requirements • Cooperating with the Parish Custodian and Secretary of State's office The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the successful bidder will be required to comply fully with all contract specifications and requirements.
