Trout Stocking Program

The State of Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is seeking a vendor to supply live rainbow and brown trout, transport them, and perform pond and stream stocking across multiple sites during spring and fall 2027. The contract is a one‑year firm‑price agreement (Nov 2026 – Nov 2027) with optional extensions. Vendors must meet strict fish health specifications, provide all delivery costs FOB destination, and submit detailed monthly and quarterly usage reports. • Deliver approximately 18,864 lb of live trout (various sizes, including trophy‑size specimens) to designated ponds and streams in Delaware. • Meet health requirements (VHS‑negative, ≤2 % expired fish per load) and provide certification documentation. • Provide insurance (CGL $1 M/$3 M, automotive liability, workers’ comp) and maintain all required licenses and permits. • Submit a paper master copy and electronic copy of the bid by 24 Sep 2026, 3 pm, following the provided pricing spreadsheet (Appendix A).
