The State of North Carolina, via Southwestern Community College, is seeking a qualified contractor to replace and upgrade the hot‑water distribution system in the Founders Hall building. The work is a turnkey project that includes demolition of the existing electric tanked water heater, installation of four Navien NPE‑240A2 tankless water heaters, upgrades to the recirculation system, insulation of all hot‑ and cold‑water piping, and necessary permitting, inspections, and warranty support. Work must be coordinated around college class schedules, with a brief 1‑2 day service interruption, and must begin within 30 business days of contract award. A mandatory pre‑bid site visit is required. Bids are due November 12, 2026.
• Remove existing electric tanked water heater
